Bluegrass music free at Celt’s Pub

Bluegrass bands will perform at Celt’s Irish Pub and Grill, 14506 South Robert Trail in Rosemount, on eight different nights from January through April. The concerts are free and open to the public.

Each band will play from 7 to 9 p.m. at Celt’s, beginning Jan. 13 when the Ditch Lillies will take the stage.

On Jan. 27, Rosemount’s Sawtooth Bluegrass Band performs, and Feb. 13 features Singleton Street.

Switched at Birth plays Feb. 24; Eel Pout Stringers are scheduled March 10, and on March 24 the nationally renowned Chris Coole and Ivan Rosenberg will take the stage.

On April 14, Bluegrass Pals will perform, and the concert series concludes on April 28 with the Middle Spunk Creek Boys.

The family-friendly events are being sponsored by a grant from the Metropolitan Area Arts Council.

There is no cover charge, and all ages are welcome. Celt’s will run food specials during the performances.
