A 22-year-old Brooklyn Park man was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale following an Aug. 28 boating accident on Lake Fremont in Zimmerman.
At 6:50 p.m. Sherburne County deputies responded to the public access of Lake Fremont and found Brock Samborski with a severe cut to his lower leg. {snippet instory}
Sheriff Joel Brott said deputies on the scene learned that Samborski had been on a jet ski when he was struck by a boat driven by Reyanne Anderson, 26, of Brooklyn Park.
Samborski had gone under the boat, and it appears he was hit by the propeller, Brott said.
After being airlifted to North Memorial Hospital, he was treated for his injuries and released, he said.
Brott said the case remains under investigation.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Zimmerman Livonia Fire Department, North Ambulance and North Air Care.
