Leona B. Johnson, daughter of Alfred and Minnie Johnson, was born Jan. 15, 1919, at Foley, Minn., where she attended school and spent the greater part of her life.

Funeral services for Albert Vedders, 90, of Visalia, Calif., formerly of Pease, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 29 at the Christian Reformed Church in Pease with the Rev. David Smit officiating.

Visitation and memorial services for Mary Christine Hoskin Friedl, 52, will be held at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008.

Roselyn Ann Hoeck was born December 24, 1968 to Richard A Delores (DeSersa) Hoeck at Coon Rapids.

Sommerfeld, Douglas D. Age 50 of Watertown, MN died Sunday February 17 at home surrounded by his family, after a 2 year battle with lung cancer.

Ruby (Winters) Woodley was born January 25, 1918 in Raymond, MN to Evert and Florence Winters. In 1920, the family moved to the Pease area.

Milaca, seeded No. 7, was at second-seeded Hermantown Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the Section 7AAA Girls Basketball Tournament.   Milaca senior Mary Hill drives to the basket against Mora Friday at Mora.
