Reunion for LFHS class of ‘55

Purple and gold colors decorated the VFW in Little Falls as 68 class members, spouses and friends of the Little Falls High School class of l955 celebrated their 50th year reunion on July l6. Edward “Pen” Bergan, class president, served as Master of Ceremonies. Barbara Colgan Gehle, vice president, and Leland Hain, class secretary/treasurer, lit candles in memory of the 20 class members who have passed away.

Two popular teachers of the class, and to whom the l955 Hi Flyer Annual was dedicated, Norma Nelson of Randall and Luverne Powers Randall of Little Falls, were in attendance and presented with coursages. Mrs. Ken Pinckney also attended the reunion.

William, “Bim” Moeglein led a “What Have You Been Doing” session that revealed some interesting events done by class members. Each class member was presented with a bag containing the reunion booklet and other Flyer memoribilia.

Dinner was served to the l03 members and guests followed by reminiscing and listening to background music of the l950’s. Class members are looking forward to the next reunion.
