Sister Mary Beyer, 79
Sister Mary Vivian (Margaret) Beyer, died on July 25, 2004, at St. Francis Covent, Little Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Francis Convent on July 31.

Sister Vivian was born on Aug. 12, 1924, in Tyler, ND. She was the oldest of eight children born to the late Herman and Anna (Conzemius) Beyer. She was accepted as a Franciscan Sister of Little Falls on August 12, 1946. She made first profession on Aug. 12, 1948, and final vows on Aug. 12, 1951. She celebrated 50 years as a Franciscan Sister in 1996. Sister Vivian ministered as a domestic worker. She served in Breckenridge, St. Cloud, and Little Falls; Fargo, ND; Milwaukee, WI.

Survivors include siblings, Frances (Rodney) Oberg of Moorhead, Paul (Barbara) Beyer, of Battle Lake, Mary Ann (Dan) Voce of Zimmerman, Rita (Sylvester) Terfehr, Wahpeton, ND, Rosella (Bernard) Nordick of Fergus Falls; and sisters-in-law, Helen and Lucille and her Franciscan Community.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Herman and Alfred.
