Chamber honors one of its own

The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner March 25 at the Falls Ballroom. Members were treated to the Little Falls High School Jazz Combo and messages from Paulette Pappenfus, incoming Board Chair Ted Pfohl and New Executive Director of the Chamber, Debora K. Boelz (right). Boelz also presented Sylvia Ryden with a plaque recognizing her 40 years of service to the Chamber, and announced that March 26, by a proclamation of the Mayor, would be known as Sylvia Ryden Day, “I was very surprised about tonight,” Ryden exclaimed. “I’ve seen a lot over the 40 years I’ve been here but the biggest thing has been the growth of business and industry.” (032804-sylvia) Staff photo by Jason Olson
