Lindsey Rae Liebel, 16
Lindsey Rae Liebel, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died Jan. 17, 2004 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. David Steffenson officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls.

Lindsey Rae Liebel was born May 3, 1987 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to Kim R. Liebel and Barbara L. (Monahan) Liebel. She was baptized into the Lutheran Faith on Aug. 22, 1987, by Pastor Richard Smith and confirmed this past year on Oct. 26, 2003. Lindsey grew up in Little Falls and attended Lindbergh Elementary School, Little Falls Middle School and was presently a junior at Little Falls High School. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Little Falls, Little Falls High School Student Council, and a member of the Little Falls High School varsity swim and golf teams. Lindsey enjoyed golfing, swimming, eating out, the movies, her friends, but especially spending time with her family and boating with her brothers, Lee and Luke. She also enjoyed quiet times at home, attending Luther Crest Bible Camp and Lake Beauty Bible Camp.

Lindsey is survived by her parents, Kim and Barb Liebel of Little Falls; brothers, Lee Liebel of Newport News, VA, and Luke Liebel of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandparents, Bernice Liebel of Little Falls, MN and Harold and Bea Monahan of Little Falls; nephew Sam Liebel of Randall, MN; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eugene Liebel in 2003 and an uncle, David Liebel in 1980.

Honorary pallbearers were Lindsey’s special friends, Lisa Brill, Katie Peterschick, Christina Nelson, Deanna Tatro, Jenna Johnson, Kari Carlson, Ashley Isom, Sheila Ayers and members of the Little Falls Varsity Swim Team.

Casketbearers were Lonnie Liebel, Tom Monahan, John Monahan, Ken Staninger, Perry Adams and Dave Thesing.
