Bears looking for food are manageable

When Gary Irwin filled his bird feeder last weekend at his home in rural Little Falls, he was hoping to attract a few small, colorful birds to watch from his patio.

But what he attracted wasn’t exactly colorful and was anything but small. He attracted a black bear.
