Krystal Kuhl is the daughter of Dale Kuhl and Lori Kuhl of rural Swanville. Krystal lives in Little Falls with Jason Charpenter and their son Jessie. Krystal is a senior and will graduate in the spring of 2003. After graduation she plans to attend college, unsure about her major. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors in the wild and has a special interest in wild animals. “Krystal has been nothing short of fabulous. She does an awesome job of juggling her schoolwork and her role as mom to Jessie. It is very important to her to graduate this year and I believe she will,” comments her advisor Issy Schmies-ing.
Ashley Silverthorne is the daughter of Charles Marquardt of Spring Lake Park and Catherine Hagford of Isanti. Ashley resides in Little Falls with three-month-old daughter Brooklyn. She has been a student at the CEC for over one year. Ashley is a junior and looks forward to graduation. Following graduation Ashley plans to seek employment and attend college. She is interested in being an administrative assistant or studying in the field of business. Ashley’s advisor, Laura Dunlap, said, “Ashley is an incredibly responsible young lady, not only in her student role but as a mother. She is mature, respectful, thoughtful and task oriented. Ashley has set high academic and personal goals for herself and exceeds those goals on a weekly basis. Ashley is a positive role model for other students and is an absolute pleasure to have as an advisee. She has a beautiful, day brightening smile.”
Cindy Taylor is the daughter of James Taylor of Brainerd and Janet Taylor of Little Falls. Cindy lives with her mother and her younger brother Randy. In her down time Cindy enjoys surfing the Internet and going shopping. According to her advisor, Issy Schmiesing, “Cindy is a senior who has made an outstanding effort with her schoolwork. She works 20 to 30 hours a week and completes her academic studies. Cindy will graduate this summer.”
