Earl Dragert, 67
Earl S. Dragert, a resident of Belgrade, MN, died March 26, 2002 at the Belgrade Nursing Home.

Memorial services were held March 29 at Union Presbyterian Church in Brooten with Reverend Kathleen Anderson officiating.

Earl Sidney Dragert was born June 9, 1934 in Hutchinson, MN, the son of Carl Walter and Clara Agusta (Baseman) Dragert. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian Faith at All Saints Lutheran Church in Glen Lake, MN. He grew up in Hutchinson and the Hopkins and St. Louis Park area. He entered the United States Marine Corps on Dec. 29, 1954, serving his country until Dec. 24, 1957. On May 10, 1958, Earl was united in marriage to Glenda Botten in Minneapolis, MN. To this union, three sons and one daughter were born. They made their home in the Twin Cities area where Earl worked as a forklift mechanic. He retired in 1996 when they moved to the Belgrade area.

Survivors include his wife Glenda; three sons, Vernon Dragert of Burtrum, Virgil (Becky) Dragert of Swanville and David Dragert of Minneapolis; one daughter, Monica Dragert of Grey Eagle; five grandchildren; brother LeRoy (Jeannie) Dragert of Minnetonka; and sister, Elaine Dragert of Goessel, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Schroeder and Dolly Sullivan and one brother, Russell Dragert.
