October’s Employee of the Month announced by Chamber

The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce recently selected its October Employee of the Month.

Ellen LeBlanc is being honored this month for nine years of dedicated service to the Wal-Mart Store of Little Falls. Ellen is a sales associate and has been with Wal-Mart since its opening in June of 1991.

“Ellen is a great asset to our store. She’s very helpful and has a lot of great ideas that she shares with our customers. I’m so glad to see that a wonderful person like Ellen is not only loved by her Wal-Mart family, but the community as well,” said Rick Phelps, assistant manager.

Ellen lives in Little Falls with her husband Dewayne and they have three married children, two sons, Terry and Tim LeBlanc and one daughter, Pam Throener. The couple is also very proud of their 10 grandchildren.

“It gives me great pleasure to help our customers and share ideas and tips, especially on crafting and sewing products. Many of the customers have given me tips as well. I have met so many friendly and interesting people from all walks of life in my nine years at Wal-Mart. I want to thank the people who nominated me and my Wal-Mart family. They are always supportive, caring and great to work with,” said Ellen.

When Ellen is not spending time with family and friends she enjoys crafting, sewing and crocheting and she’s been participated in craft shows for over 10 years. She is also a collector of dolls, bells and antiques.

For being chosen Employee of the Month, Ellen will receive gift certificates from Broadway Stylists and Sheri’s Towne Deli and a portrait from Silker Studio.
